  • Croatia !! light after the dark

    >yes…what you are looking in the picture is a real one !!! no photoshop !!! :)) This is the Plitvice Lakes national park.

    I started in Zagreb, and it was not so easy to find a suitable place to stay and economical at same time. Indeed, Zagreb is nice but expensive!!
    Walking around the city center you can find all the terraces in the streets, some relax, coffee, beers, and having great time sitting in the sofa outside watching the people walking.
    Train, is the best way to move in Zagreb, single ticket is 6,5 kn (0,9 eur), but there are very few inspectors.

    Don’t miss the cathedral (no shorts! or t-shirts), ice-cream in Vincek, market, history museum, and just walk around.

    Plitvice Lakes National Park, and it was granted UNESCO World Heritage. It is an amazing place with lakes, forest, nature, animals and … waterfalls !

    Entrance is 110kn, and it is possible to walk all around the park in 1 day, using also the boats. Strongly recommend to go Veliki waterfall, which is the highest with 70m (you need to climb through stairs …)

    And what about Dubrovnik. Actually is pretty touristic city…full of tourist in the summer time (but may is fine).

    You will find out how many restaurants are in the old city (enter from Pile door, until Ploce), this take it out some charm … but all places are really nice to have a romantic dinner or just enjoy fried fish while you are listening live music. I suggest the Amorat restaurant to taste a rissoto with seafood!
    You will find the maps with the bombs impacts in every door of the wall. Furthermore, you will see the different roofs colours, for those destroyed by the bombs during the war on the 90’s.

    If you want to stay, i recommend you the Begovic pension (150kn/night)
    The best places are the coves where you can swim in the Adriatic … awesome!
    Take one day to walk all around Dubrovnik discovering new places

    so, just enjoy, take your time, meet people

    It was awesome !!! can you imagine how peaceful was there, how beautiful was the landscape

    We arrived there on sunday in a really small village in the middle of the Alps. Just a market, ski shop, and one bar (closing at 22:30!! that is not the spanish schedule !)

    First days, we thought it would be impossible ski, but finally the more high we went the more snow we found !!

    At the end of the week, we spent so wonderful time and for sure we will be back there next year

    Hopefuly you will have the chance to go there ! i strongly recommend you to go !!!

    Vietnam. Recorrido norte-sur, empezando en Hanoi. El bus nº17, te lleva desde el aeropuerto al centro (500vnd, en su día…). Ahí puedes visitar la ciudad (templo Lit, pueblo La Met-para ver serpientes, puedes usar transporte público), ir a little Hanoi, ir a Tam Coc. Aprovechar y comer por el centro. Templo de la literatura y templo de Bach Ma
    Después merece la pena cogerse 3 días a la bahía de Halong. Lo mejor es pillarlo en una de las agencias de Hanoi (Sinh Cafe, que está por el centro y bien). Trekking en la isla Cat Ba que merece mucho la pena. Puedes hacer kayak
    Se coge un tren hacia Hue, pero sin parar en Ninh Binh (no hay nada…). Los trenes es mejor reservarlos con antelación (unos 2 días, y ojo con los festivos y fines de semana). En Hue se puede alquilar un barco para visitar pagodas, templos. Visitar la ciudadela, el recinto imperial y la ciudad púrpura prohibida.
    Desde Hue se puede ir en bus hacia Hoi An. Esta ciudad es superturística, es donde te puedes hacer los trajes por dos duros…Desde ahí se puede ir a My Son, que son unos templos destruidos durante la guerra. Como están en medio de la selva, el calor y humedad es sofocante!, pero el viaje en jeep :). Ir al Miss Ly Cafeteria
    En bus a Nha Trang, que es zona de playa, para estar 1-2 días de relax. Pero luego ir hacia las montañas en Dalat. Allí te abordan los «easy riders», que es gente que se ofrece a llevarte de excursión en sus motos…muy muy recomendable. Día completo con ellos 20usd, y te llevan a donde quieras y te cuentan historias (si son viejetes mejor).
    Llegar a Ho Chi Ming, donde se tienen mil sitios que ver, sobre todo relacionados con la guerra de Vietnam. El museo de la guerra es duro, pero es algo que no se debe olvidar. Ahí se puede reservar el pase a Camboya a través del río Mekong. Se deben visitar los mercados flotantes de Chan Doc. Ojo, al pasar a Camboya, llevar dinero efectivo para el visado, y si se reserva desde Vietnam, asegurarse de donde te recogen y a donde te llevan…
    En Can Tho, visitar la pagoda de Munirangsyaram, tienen además mercados flotantes…y viviendas!
    En Camboya, desde P.Penh visitar los killing fields, sobre los jemeres rojos. Se puede alquilar una moto, o una con conductor que te lleva por 5usd. Desde la capital a Siam Reap, para visitar los templos de Angkor Wat.
    En P. Penh, visitar el palacio real y la pagoda de plata. Tambien el mercado central
    Para los templos de Angkor Wat hay que pagar entrada (y son de 1 día, 3 días o 7 creo). Lo mejor es alquilar una moto y que te vaya llevando por los templos (porque están bastante separados), y además controlan las horas y te llevan a sitios diferentes para comer. En Siam Reap, visitar el mercado y palacio independencia.
    En Camboya, estos 3 sitios son los típicos (P. Penh-capital, Siam Reap, Angkor Wat). Te puedes mover en autobús público, pero ojo con los horarios. Después también están las furgonetas…más auténticas y baratas!
    Sobre alojamiento, todos estaban bien, limpios, con baño en la habitación, lavandería.
